Abstract composition of Japanese Boro Art.  "Mending and patching together." Simple straight hand stitching with provided thread over bright and colorful dupioni silk from India.  All levels are welcome.  Finished size is 11" X 14".  An $8 materials fee will be collected at the start of class.

This is a 6 week session that includes a variety of different techniques using fiber.  Interested students may purchase the entire series or they may purchase individual classes.  The indivudual classes are separated out and listed under the specific title in the catalog. Each class has an $8 materials fee to be paid to the instructor.

Learn to see like artist! In this 3 hour class, you will learn the basic skills and techniques to draw anything you see. The, you will take those drawn lines to create a 3D finished graphite drawing. The class is a step-by-step method for beginners that will give you the skills to draw and improve your artwork.

Contempory Sailboat 

Contemporary composition of ocean scenery.  Simple straight hand stitching with provided thread over natural linen and hand dyed cotton textiles. All levels are welcome. An $8 materials fee will be collected at the beginning of class. Finished size is 8”x10”.

For this class you can use fabric that will be provided or bring pieces of fabric from your own old clothes to add some special memories and interest to this composition  I suggest to use all natural fabric like cotton, silk, linen or wool. All levels are welcome. Materials are included. Finished size is 11”x14”.

Wool felting with special needle that will be provided. All levels are welcome but due to sharpness of needles that will be used this class is not recommended for children. Wool and needles  are included for an $8 fee. Foam will also be provided but will be required to be returned after class. Finished size is 11”x14”.

This is fun and creative class using scraps of provided fabric (or bring your own pieces) and lace. Created by using simple straight running stitch or creative embroidery. Finished composition will be glued around metal can. It can be use for storage, flower arrangement or as a decorative item for your home. All levels are welcome. All materials will be provided for an $8 materials fee.
